Welcome to our website where we hope to give you a flavour of who we are and what we stand for in Arvalee School.
As a School in the Special Sector of Education we have developed our school environment, teaching skills and learning programmes to support children aged 3 to 19 years who have Moderate and Severe Learning Difficulties.
Each member of staff in Arvalee School seeks to provide each child and young person with quality learning experiences and opportunities where he/she can grow academically and socially. We take pride in their many abilities, personal qualities, achievements and strive to ensure that they are well prepared for the challenges of life. We have developed and continue to develop, a wide range of educational experiences, resources and teaching strategies to support each child and young person in their learning.
The pupils come first in what we do and we try to focus on their individual needs as we develop and progress as a school. Over the incoming year we are moving to a new School building on the Gortin Road in Omagh that is due to open in September 2016. The new school build will be part of a Shared Education Campus where we will be seeking to share resources, skills and knowledge to enhance the learning opportunities for children and young people across the Omagh district.
