The Students Council plant a tree at new school site

The Arvalee School Students Council were joined by Mr O'Dowd, Mr McGuiness and Mrs Foster to plant a tree at the site of the new building. The politicians then moved into a marquee to speak to a group of the Omagh stakeholders about the new site and the new site name. Mr O'Dowd talked about the 1 September 2012, coming down to Omagh to see the devastation of the fire in Arvalee School and how the school community moved forward in such a way that demanded the new school for the pupils. Mr McGuinness spoke of the pupils and asked that all remember that this new school is about the children. Mrs Foster spoke of the positivity in moving forward with the build for the whole campus and Omagh community.
