Prizegiving

Arvalee School and Resource Centre recently held its Annual Prize-giving ceremony.  In her address Mrs Winnie Winters Acting Principal welcomed everyone to this special day of celebration where the focus was to acknowledge the great achievements of Arvalee’s young people in the academic year 2013/14.  She paid tribute to staff and pupils for their resolve and dedication to academic achievement, praised the prize-winners for their individual awards and thanked the parents for their support.

Mrs Winters also used the occasion to thank Arvalee’s Inspiration Sponsors who through their generosity are providing funds on an annual basis to develop an enriched curriculum of music, song, dance, art, aromatherapy and ICT for all pupils.

The Prize-giving was a celebration of the young people of Arvalee who continue to overcome challenges, work hard and achieve great results in a wide range of qualifications.
